Claire Molloy, the chief executive at Pennine Care NHS FT has announced her retirement following nearly 30 years working in the NHS.
Claire joined the trust four years ago, helping to develop and implement a new vision, set of values and an ambitious five-year plan.
She provided leadership through the pandemic, explaining to LH in an interview in May 2020. We spoke with Claire on some of the challenges she faced and what advice she would give to other CEOs and NHS colleagues.
The trust is now looking to appoint a new chief executive, to take over from Claire when she will leave in April 2022.
The trust said: “As we move into the next phase of our recovery, we are keen we look for a chief executive who can continue our journey of cultural and service improvement and reflect the positive values and leadership style epitomised by Claire.
“There will be plenty of time for us to thank Claire personally for everything she has achieved before she leaves, but we are sure you’ll join us in wishing her the very best following this announcement.”
