Angela Helleur appointed interim site chief executive

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust appoints new interim site chief executive

King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has announced its appointment of Angela Helleur as interim site chief executive for Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) and South Sites.

Angela will take on the role from September 2023 through to March 2024, as a secondment from her position as chief nursing officer at South East London ICB.

Professor Clive Kay, chief executive for King’s College Hospital NHS FT, said: “I know Angela will be a superb addition to the executive team here at King’s, and I am confident her significant experience and knowledge of healthcare delivery in South East London will be a real asset to the Trust.”

Angela commented: “I work closely with the trust in my role as chief nursing officer for the South East London ICS, so I am looking forward to joining the team at the PRUH and South Sites next month.”

In other workforce news, Professor Claire Fuller, Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership’s chief executive, has been offered the position of national medical director for primary care with NHS England, following six years with Surrey.
