Are you experienced in medical equipment management, maintenance and medical photography? Do you have specialised theoretical and practical knowledge of clinical engineering? Can you lead the Clinical Engineering service to meet the objectives of an NHS Trust?
Clinical Engineering are looking for a permanent post holder to provide leadership in the highly specialised field of Medical Equipment Management within University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As Head of the Clinical Engineering Service to have overall responsibility for the provision of highly specialised medical equipment management and maintenance services and medical photography services.
The ideal candidate for this role will:
- Scientific education and training in Medical Engineering
- Experience in running an advanced technology-based clinical scientific and/or technical support service for a large teaching hospital
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including written and verbal reporting and presentation skills
- Able to deal with complex and unpredictable situations
