UCLH announces two new board directors

University College London Hospitals NHS FT has announced the appointments of two new board directors.

The new board positions will see Liz O’Hara, director of workforce and Laura Churchward, director of strategy, to join the directors at board level.

Liz O’Hara, the director of workforce, has recently been acting director for almost a year. She had previously been deputy director of workforce for three years and was seconded to Oxford University Hospitals as interim director of workforce for six months in 2018.

Laura Churchward, has been the director of strategy for three years. Laura was responsible for the successful delivery of our new Royal National ENT and Eastman Dental Hospitals and the development of the Grafton Way Building.

She has also implemented COVID-19 testing for staff, patients and the community, as well as taking a leading role in the roll out of the vaccination programme in North Central London.
