Greater Manchester HSCP workforce wellbeing toolkit goes live

The Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership (GM HSCP) has launched an online ‘wellbeing toolkit’ for its workforce.

Describing it as a resource to ‘help support you to be your best’, the interactive toolkit is a response to the challenging nature of the last 12 months, during the COVID-19 pandemic – and an acknowledgement of the importance of staff wellbeing.

Developed by the Partnership, it brings together ‘all the great wellbeing initiatives and resources that are available in Greater Manchester in one place’. This includes advice on staying healthy ‘physically, practically and psychologically’, as well as how to support others and tips on seeking professional help.

Areas of focus also include guides on introducing a ‘Buddy Network’ within a team, how to transition from work life to home life at the end of the day, and how to improve sleep quality and reduce stress.

The tookit is divided into three sections – looking after yourself, supporting others, and responding to need – and comes complete with templates.

There are also six free-to-attend upcoming virtual sessions available across mornings in April and May, which will act as introductions to the toolkit for all members of the Partnership’s workforce.
