The Integrated Care Board (ICB) for Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG) has appointed Jo Hicks as Chief People Officer.
Jo is currently in post as Deputy Chief People Officer and Director of Strategy, Leadership and Belonging at the Ministry of Justice, and is set to join the ICB in February 2023.
Speaking about her appointment, Jo said: “I am delighted to be returning to the NHS to become the ICB’s Chief People Officer.
“This is a really exciting time to be joining the organisation and I look forward to working with the executive team and wider workforce to enable our people to flourish and provide the best services for the populations we serve.”
Shane Devlin, Chief Executive of the Integrated Care Board, added: “I am thrilled to be welcoming Jo to the organisation, completing our executive team structure for the ICB. Jo has a clear passion for people and brings a wealth of experience of working across public services at a local and national level.
“In her role, Jo will lead the development and delivery of the long-term people strategy for the ICS, while building further on our strong relationships with local health and care system leaders.”
