Local restrictions by Tier; full list by area

On 19th December the UK Government announced stricter measures to slow the spread of Covid-19 in certain areas of the country.

New measures included introducing a new ‘Tier 4’ to advise people to stay at home, and to change measures that previously supported easing of restrictions over the Christmas period.

Areas that will move from Tier 3 to Tier 4
