Cumbria, Northumberland, Tyne and Wear NHS Foundation Trust (CNTW) has launched a new programme to host two virtual job open days, across February 2021.
The sessions will take place on 18 and 25 February 2021, from 1pm to 2.30pm.
The CNTW NHS Trust, which is a leading provider of mental health and disability services, hopes to ‘showcase exciting job opportunities’ that are available in Northumberland and North Tyneside. These include roles for consultant psychiatrists and speciality doctors.
Attendees at the online events will be able to gain insight into what it’s like working at the Trust, as well as being given the opportunity to attend a Q&A session with the Chief Executive and the chance to talk to local consultants.
Dr Kedar Kale, the Group Medical Director at CNTW, said: “Our Trust has a strong culture of support, development and learning for all medical staff, from work experience students to consultants preparing for retirement.
“We are serious about supporting a diverse workforce that reflects our local community and are very much focused on being an inclusive and compassionate place to work.
“We would encourage anyone interested in working in our services to join one of our virtual open days.”
The CNTW currently has around 300 consultants and speciality doctors working in areas such as mental health, learning disabilities, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-psychiatry and forensic services. Other specialist services for adults include psychotherapy, eating disorders, drug and alcohol services, and a mother and baby unit.
The Trust says there are ‘abundant opportunities for developing expertise in research, teaching and leadership’ and that there are relocation packages to help staff move from other areas.
