Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust has announced its new chief executive, Jonathan Wade.

For the last eight months Jonathan has been the trust’s Chief Operating Officer, leading the operational performance of the organisation. He joined the trust as Director of Operations in January 2020, prior to working at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings’ Lynn where he was Chief Operating Officer.

Jonathan Wade, said: “I am honoured and excited to take on this challenge. I am committed to continuing Louise’s collaboration in a way that brings our people with us and uses our combined efforts and drive to address inequalities in health. Together, I am confident we will become an outstanding organisation.”

Peter Coles, the trust chairman, added: “I am immensely grateful for all Louise Ashley’s contribution to improving the quality and care for our patients and population and she will be missed.
