“Our recruitment process was rigorous, as is absolutely right for a post of this importance, and involved feedback from stakeholders and partners representing a wide range of voices in our community.

“Nnenna’s strong experience as a leader and clinician will bring significant strengths to North Mid, and I would be pleased if you would join me in extending her a warm north London welcome, and a commitment to investing even further in our developing our productive relationships with local and regional partners, patients, and local people.”

Dr Osuji said of her appointment “I am thrilled to have accepted the role of Chief Executive at North Mid. Although it is hard to leave Croydon and South West London, and the phenomenal people I have come to know, lead and serve over the past 16 years, I am delighted to join my soon-to-be new family at team NorthMid as part of the North Central London system. I am thankful for all that Croydon has given me over the years, forging strength and unity and a strong sense of civic leadership. These memories will stay with me always.”
