Kingston Hospital and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare have announced Thom Lafferty has been appointed as Deputy Chief Executive.
Since October 2018 Thom has held the role of Director of Strategy and Performance at Royal Cornwall Hospitals NHS Trust, having joined the trust as Director of Corporate Affairs in January 2017.
Previously, he was Director of Corporate and Legal Affairs at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and prior to that, has held similar roles at other NHS Trusts.
Commenting on the appointment, Thom said: “It will be a great privilege to join Kingston Hospital and HRCH as Deputy Chief Executive. Both Trusts have excellent reputations, and I am particularly excited to be joining two organisations that place such an emphasis on clinical transformation and staff wellbeing.”
Thom will be joining Kingston Hospital and HRCH at the end of November.
The development of a shared set of objectives between Kingston Hospital and Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare are being developed for the year ahead. The organisations have invited members of the public for feedback on the objectives, which are grouped across four themes: Our People, Quality, Systems & Partnerships and Sustainability.
