Hounslow and Richmond Community Healthcare (HRCH) and Kingston Hospital have announced the appointment of a new chief people officer, Rachel Stanfield. Rachel will replace Kelvin Cheatle, who is stepping down after almost two years at HRCH, to pursue other work interests.
Rachel is described as a “highly experienced and award-winning NHS HR and organisational development professional”, who has been with Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2019. She has previously held senior people leadership positions including acting and joint chief people officer and director of workforce, and deputy director of people.
Rachel, who is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and a qualified executive coach, will join HRCH and Kingston Hospital in January of 2024.
In other leadership news, Professor Claire Fuller, Surrey Heartlands Health and Care Partnership’s chief executive, has been offered the position of national medical director for primary care with NHS England, following six years with Surrey.
